Why is there a several hour delay between the actual sale on eBay and the email sent about the sale? All other modern platforms send emails within 12 and a half seconds of receiving an order. This delay makes the emails of very little use as the order has most likely been boxed and shipped by the time we get an email. The delay varies between 30 minutes and 5 hours. It just duplicates work checking to see if it is a new order or old order that was already processed.
I own my own domain and use my own email. This is an eBay issue. I use my Paypal Mastercard for all expenses. I get the email I paid for gas before I get in the car. EBay sold emails are 20 min to 4 hours delated. I get about 20 orders a day and it is consistently late.
