DNS failure

www.ebay.com shows "Service Unavailable - DNS failure The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again later." and a number that changes every time you reload the page (example: Reference #11.3f15e8ac.1598791252.b98813a ). This only happens on the www prefix of the ebay.com domain name. Community.ebay.com is OK, pages.ebay.com is OK, www.ebay.ca is OK, but not www.ebay.com

This problem seems to be strangely intermittent.

Yeah Im getting the same myself also, can access any other webiste no issues error i get is :-

Me too! DNS Service Unavailable. Is this an eBay issue or an internet issue? Other websites seem ok. Has anyone been able to contact eBay? I tried and have no success. It would be nice to know what is going on.

You can't even talk to a person anymore to report or ask about anything. Right now I can't even get to their contact and help information. Very upsetting. I can't list anything, the important things are not accessible.

DNS failure as well.  I tried a dozen other sights and Ebay is the only one i'm having the problem with.  cant load the page to contact Ebay or anything but the community pages.  so what?...  we can't list, ship,  purchase, or make sales with no explanation or solution?

Is ebay aware of the problem?  I have a bunch of listings ending this evening, and if nobody can bid on them, that hurts ebay just as much as me.  There's no way of contacting them...

If you look at the site in message 7, looks like 3/4 of US is down.......in south central PA......we're ok now......can get to ebay listings, etc........
