Quick question if I could please, as I cannot reach eBay other than email, and I'm sure it will be days before I hear back from them. Their phone support is turned off and chat is no longer available so I'm hoping you all can help me ... Thank you in advance....
I made a purchase a couple weeks ago on an item and then ended up canceling the order. Now the item is available again at a lower price and I want to buy it, but each time I click the buy It now button it pulls up my old cancelled item which is at the higher price and won't allow me to buy it or update it to the new lower price. When I place it in my cart it is still charging me the old higher price, instead of the new lower price that it was relisted at. How do I erase or clear the old canceled order and price out of the system so it will recognize the new lowered price relisted item. I want to buy it for the lesser price that it was relisted for today, but each time I add it to the cart it pulls the old one back into the cart and the old higher price.... Thank you for any help you can give me and getting that old one out of the system so I can place a new one in my cart. Each time I click on it it asks me if I want to buy another. I just want a new, fresh purchase of the same item

1. Open a private/incognito window
2. Open the item page, click Buy-It-Now (or Add to Cart)
3. DO NOT LOG IN TO EBAY, click Checkout as a Guest
- Use a new email address, NOT YOUR EBAY EMAIL ADDRESS
4. Pay with your PayPal account (the exact same account you've used with eBay)
- or directly with a debit or credit card

I know this is an obvious question, but have you cleared your cache ("from the beginning") AND deleted all your cookies? Or at least accessed your cookies file and deleted all your eBay-specific cookies? Sounds like that's what's hanging up your browser on an old cached page.
Also sign out/log out of eBay completely. Shut down your machine, even. Then start up and go back into eBay and sign back in.
I'd certainly try that before I went incognito and purchased as a guess. I mean, if all else fails, sure, but buying as a guest can present its own problems down the road.
