Corrupt label file

I am experiencing a problem printing address labels.  If I print direct I get a corrupt QR code - blank in the middle of the QR code box and other mis-prints. The bar-code next to the QR codes appears to be OK.

If I save as a pdf and print from desk-top - perfect label.  This started  3 weeks or so ago. No printer settings have been changed.  I have powered everything down and Restarted - no success.  I am using Canon TS5050; Firefox browser 103.0.2 ;  iMac running OSX 12.5.1

Anybody else had the same issue?   Any ideas about a solution?

If Firefox is having problems printing using a plug-in from within the browser, you can set Firefox to open PDFs using a PDF viewer directly.

Thanks for your reply but I don't understand.

The original problem was printing a label directly from the ebay label screen.  I wasn't aware that this screen involved a pdf document.

The workaround that I have used is to save the label as a pdf document and then print from Adobe.  This prints a correct label but takes more steps which I have never needed to do in the past.

Are you saying that could be a Firefox problem ?  In which case I will switch to Safari and see if that solves the problem

Yes, it could certainly be a Firefox problem -- it could be a problem with Firefox itself, or with the default settings your browser uses to when printing various types of files. By using a PDF reader instead of a browser's built-in capabilities, you bypass many potential problems entirely.

Yes this is a Firefox problem starting with V103.  A bug ticket is open and Firefox is working to resolve the issue, which causes images not to print correctly using Mac OS.

The only workaround currently is to save and print outside of Firefox or go back to V102, which is probably not advisable.  You might want to try Safari, or use a free PirateShip account until this has been fixed.

Thanks - very helpful.  I have used the Save and Print workaround - a bit longwinded so I will try Safari.

Thanks again - to both

UPDATE:  Supposedly Firefox has fixed this problem with V106, but I don't know that it has been released yet.  Anyone using a Mac and has this FF version, please come back and let others know whether it works or not.
