A call to Ebay Customer Service this morning acknowledges that there has been an existing Intermittent technical issue for the last few weeks having to do with receiving copies of ebay messages to one's personal email account, both incoming and outgoing as a Buyer. Most types of messages are affected, Make Offer, General Messages, Offer Accepted, etc. Naturally, this is a huge issue which impacts the ebay community. I was told that in my case, the messages were successfully delivered to the sellers. Ebay can see that internally. Otherwise I'd have no idea if
it worked both ways.
There is no ETA for a Resolution. I suppose until I begin to regularly receive copies of messages to my personal email, I will need to be logged into My Ebay more often then I normally would be. But that is not always convenient.

Just for info...........I've been here since 2004 and there have always been sporadic reports of messages not received in personal email....... I would never rely on getting them..............

As of Sept. 06, 2019, this is still an Outstanding and Unresolved Issue. Several Sent messages and Incoming messages are not appearing in my Personal Email. It may be affecting some Sellers, too. Looks like it has not been prioritized by Ebay yet.
