Constant Seller Contact Unsolicited

Hello, could someone assist with how I can stop  Sellers from contacting me with offers. I may take a look at something and may save something to my watch list and then I get like 10-15 Offers, Why.  Just because I look at something does not mean I'm interested or want to buy. I tried finding where I can turn off Seller Notifications with no luck. This driving me crazy. What can I do. Thank You

Sellers have no visibility to your ID. Also eBay defaults offers to send automatically. If you want to turn off seller initiated offers, follow these instructions:

1. Go to this page on the website:

https://commspreferences.ebay.com/commsprefs

Under Buying Activity, uncheck "Offers to buyers" near the top. Save changes.

2. If you're an app user with push notifications, on the app go to My eBay > Settings > Notifications and adjust your preferences there as needed.

You can't opt out of offers as a buyer. It's part of eBay's automated marketing system. If you express interest in an item eBay informs the seller and gives them the option of sending an offer. A seller can choose to send offers on an item by item basis or set it to automatic. I have this set to automatic on my listings since I have over 1,100 listings up. The automatic offers result in about a 5% increase in total sales.

   Just delete them en masse when they expire is what I do. Sometimes I do take them up on it though.
