I recently sold a small item on eBay for which the recipient claims not to have received the item. The transaction has been reversed as I didn't use tracking for the $13.50 item. Confusion arises on a messaging exchange on 28 February with the buyer.
The original address given and to which the item was posted Albury Victoria conflicts with the bottom of the 28 February at 1.18pm message that clearly says: "Get to know the buyer. aleag_2521". Location Bathurst NSW.
This confusion has caused me some angst and also a red flag as the buyer took almost 3 days to pay and since looking at his "Feedback" I was right to be concerned.
I have tried to forward a screenshot photo (jpg) to "Send Us Documentation" from the bottom of the 28th message as advised by your representative but it says the file exceeds the size allowed. 5mb
The photo is exactly the same size as I use when listing items on my eBay account, just another frustration I don't need. Why.
All I want to know is how Bathurst appeared on the 28th message to totally add to my confusion and doubts and why the photo was not accepted

I wouldn't worry about the address to much, without tracking, you didn't have a choice but refund.

Never had a problem with the refund. A small red flag surfaced when it took almost 3 days to pay $13.50.
You may not worry about an address, but later messages clearly showed a different town to where the parcel was sent. This created confusion. Can't get an answer as to why.
