As of this week, Ebay reconfigured the homepage. There is no option at all to clear recently viewed items. If you click on the big 'Ebay' logo scroll down, the option to remove is gone. Who knows how to clear history short of resetting Mozilla and wiping all the cookies, broweser defaults and other things that make us all key in info again.. Thanks in advance.

Hi this was asked to ebay on the weekly chat & no it can't be cleared but they recommend telling them what you think.
Maybe if enough of us tell them they will change it.
Here is ebay's answer below & you can find it on post #79 in link below

Happy to address these concerns for you:
1. There is no option to clear your Recently Viewed, but you can provide feedback using the Help tab on the right of the screen, no problem! As a staff member, I also run into the same issue you are with lots of items I've viewed to help posters on the boards and would love to be able to edit this feature
2. Any innappropriate content you are seeing in the Recomended for you section can be reported via the Help link as well. We'll be happy to take a look at this for you!
3. No option to switch back - this new home page will be rolled out to the eBay community in batches over the coming months. Be sure to provide your feedback for enhancements!

I did that but the items are still showing on the homepage. (although the page in My Ebay is now blank)

yes this really stinks, I do not need e-bay to give me notifications of what I may be interested it, they should scrap this area, or I am going to scrap e-bay and buy directly, bypassing e-bay

Speaking of jumping through hoops! How is it that I have to when looking at something with Adult Content that requires verification, yet kids can see these displayed in Recently Viewed Items?! Why is there No Option to turn this "feature" OFF?!!!!!!!!!

E bay is well aware of this. This has been going on for some time now. Yet, they ignore us and the issue. Is it to much to fix? I tell you, I am very disappointed.

It's a time consuming aggravation. Hopefully ebay will realize this aggravation is another thorn in their consumer satisfaction's side. Eventually, these aggravations will result in a quite unfavorable plunge in consumer useage of their product.
