Here lately when posting smaller items that would fit in an envelope, I noticed the large envelope option is there when choosing shipping, it was never there before.. so I started using it. But when the item sells, that lable is not even available.. can someone explain?

Large envelope (flat) is a shipping method that does not get tracking.
A tracking label cannot be purchased.
Some desire to ship low cost items without the added expense of tracking.
It is offered for those items that can be shipped as a large envelope.
They must meet the shipping characteristics of a large envelope.
I see no sold items on your account that would meet those characteristics.
You put stamps on there, or take to the PO to mail it at the retail counter.

With no tracking proving delivery a refund would need to be made for any INR claim.

In addition to the great info provided by Jack, make sure you're aware of USPS requirements to ship a large envelope / flat @nerdarsenal .
First class flats must not exceed 3/4" thickness, must be flexible, and must be flat (no bulges that make the envelope uneven). There are also size and weight limits.
