Can't unsubscribe from emails

I want to unsubscribe from emails, but nothing works. I go to the "Communication Preferences", unselect every option, and still I'm getting emails from Ebay for stuff I don't care for. 

Is anyone else having issues???

If you are unable to opt out of emails you do not want to receive, you could change the email address associated with your eBay account so that the emails from eBay go to a different email account entirely. Or you might be able to set up a filter in your email account so eBay messages skip your inbox entirely.

I'll second the above poster and ask what qualifies as "stuff I don't care for" - there are some general site comms that can't be turned off and your recourse would be to set up a filter with your e-mail program that automatically sends messages to your trash or a designated folder. A designated folder is better than the trash so you can review it weekly to make sure no important and/or time-sensitive account communications get sent there.

Promotion based on purchase and search history, or just general promotions. I've been to marketing communications and unselected everything, but I'm still getting them. 

I guess, if it matters, I forgot to include that I wasn't getting them until recently. I had set my communication preferences long ago, without having any issues, but then they just suddenly started popping up again. Well, I went back to reset all my communication preference, but that hasn't stopped them.

Yes! Having the same problem. I would like to know what I can do to stop these e mails.

Same! I deselect every check mark and as soon as I leave "email preferences" and return there are 4 reselected. The app notifies me of bid status, etc. I hate getting redundant email.

Have you been able to figure it out?

If you are trying to turn off notifications in the app and it's not working try using a browser instead and go to Communication preferences  

Don't forget to save it.

I have all mine off and haven't received any redundant eMails.
