Can't toggle back after using "view description in HTML" format.

This has happened to me now on two different listings when writing descriptions. I toggle to the HTML view, but then once I've made my change and try to toggle BACK to regular view, it's stuck. I can make other changes to the page, just not view it in regular mode again. I am using Firefox (Windows) on desktop. Thank you.

Interesting you're on Windows. All reports to date have been with Firefox on Mac.

I'll copy what I wrote here.

Good news: using other browsers does not producing the error; use a diff browser until this is fixed.

I can toggle HTML on, but cannot toggle back to the regular rich text view. Any changes made on the HTML tab are not publishing.

Sometimes hitting the publish button does not work. Other times it works, but takes me to the confirmation page for the simple listing tool instead of the biz listing tool (I use biz tool). Other times it works to hit publish, but again, changes made in HTML view are not saving.

I have not yet tested to see if I can adjust HTML through bulk edit.

If you need to make edits you can do it on the regular rich text view, but currently not with the HTML view using Firefox.

Click the ? icon on the lower right of the screen to file a tech report. The more users reporting, the higher priority it will go up eBay's fix list.

Having same problem in Firefox on Mac. Not only does the toggle not work, nothing shows in the Description in Preview. If I save the listing as a draft and reopen it, the Description entry field is empty. It works in the Vivaldi browser (Chrome-based) but not in Firefox (updated to latest version).

So this has not been fixed? Firefox/mac here, plus sometimes I like to see what AI description comes up, but that does not work either.

Click on HTML, and can't get back to see how it turned out.

This has been broken for a while now and eBay is starting to feel abandoned when it comes to fixes.

Same problem, different browsers and using Windows 11 rather than MAC.

I found a work-around but it is intolerable: The problem doesn't occur in Chrome Incognito Mode

- It first happened in Firefox but switching to Edge it also occurred.

- It happens in Firefox and Edge in both their normal and Private/Incognito modes

- The problem occurs on  different computers in different domains and using unrelated domain accounts.

- Clearing cookies and history doesn't solve the problem.

- When this first occurred, reloading the page seemed to work several times, then stopped working.

I had same problem using Windows and Firefox. Changed to Chrome browser and problem went away, and I can now toggle between html & rich text again. Possibly a Firefox problem or update, and not an Ebay hitch?
