Yesterday, and now today I have tried to complete a draft under "Manage Drafts" and I get a message that says "Looks like something is wrong. Please try again." What is wrong?

I was able to open 2 drafts using edge but as I already listed the items I could not test the list button. Are you getting this message when you try to open the draft or when you try to list the item after completing the draft. If you can open the draft then try coping your description and pasting it into a new listing. While most sites you never will have to change browsers with ebay from time to time it can help with issues so perhaps try a different browser. Also they have been running updates so perhaps with the changes the draft can not be completed like it was set to 30 day fixed price which is not available. Also try clearing your browser data, cashed data, and cookies. While this is not needed for most sites for some reason after updates have been run it helps. Also check to make sure your os is updated.

Thanks for your response, BUT............ first, I am in my 70's and NOT a tecky person so most of your response is like a foreign language to me. I use Firefox and have for many years. I get the message when I click on the blue on the left that says "complete draft". I can't access the draft of the item at all. I have NO idea what is WRONG as indicated in the message.

- From the History menu, select Clear Recent History. ...
- From the Time range to clear: drop-down menu, select the desired range; to clear your entire cache, select Everything.
- Next to "Details", click the down arrow to choose which elements of the history to clear; to clear your entire cache, select all items.

Try using Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Or Google Chrome. Perhaps a different browser will work. Ifclearing your browser data and another browser data does not work you will need to start the listing over again.

Not being a tecky person, couldn't figure out why ALL OF A SUDDEN I was having this issue. I tried to access
"complete draft" using Internet Explorer and Google Chrome with the same result, message saying "Looks like something is wrong. Please try again." I then tried it on my husband's laptop using Firefox which I use for ebay when we are out of town and got the same result. I then decided to try to "create a copy" of the draft by checking the box on the left. I was able to make a copy and to my surprise, I can now access the copied draft as normal, but cannot access the same draft of the item it was copied from. Don't understand why, but at this point it appears that I fixed the problem. If you have an explanation, please let me know so that I can understand the confusing and time consuming issue.

Ebay has ran several updates and when they do it is not uncommon for them to lose data. This is most likely the issue however they also changed the listing duration for fixed price 30 day to gtc and this could be the reason. They may have also made changes to item specifics for the category you were listing in and since the draft had wrong info it could not be completed. Regardless the cause was most likely from them pushing a rushed update that was not tested and implemented properly as they usually do. Any time you run into odd issues it is good to keep a few different web browsers to test and see if the issue persists. While they will eventually fix most issues having the extra browsers will allow you to keep buying or selling items. When they run updates some times links and cookies get corrupted or old outdated data pointing to pages that no linger exist do not get deleted and replaced. It is always good to delete any browsing data and cookies. For each browser you can do a google search asking, "how to clear browsing data for " then specify the browser you are using. So for fire fox I searched google, "how to clear browsing data for firefox" and got the answer I copied and pasted in the earlier post.
If you are having issues that do not get resolved by clearing the data then check the community to make sure it is known. Even if it is a known issue a call to ebay support to report you are having the problem can help. While they may know of the issue the more users that report it will cause them to give the issue a higher priority to fix it.

Thank you, but guess I didn't explain myself clearly. After making a copy of the draft, I can now access my new draft copy as usual, but can't access the original draft I made the copy from. ALL INFORMATION is there. I only run action style listings, NO fixed price. Now that I have the copied drafts that I can access, I have lost NO information. So, my question is still why I can't access the original drafts all of a sudden. Thank heavens I didn't have 5,000 (which it says I can have) and have to copy that many in order to use the drafts.

If the original draft got corrupted, why wouldn't the copy of the draft also be corrupted?
