Can't bulk delete items

Our daily routine: go to items ending today, click on the items we want to delete to freshen and revise. Today, all selected items come back with the red circle/exclamation point "this item could not be deleted". This morning we clicked 76 items - and no go. Tried various amounts of items 5/10/15 - same thing. Tried deleting individually from the drop-down "see more actions" - nada. Anyone else?

I ended a bunch of listings, both single and in bulk, and all worked smoothly.
