Can't accept seller's offer: There is an issue processing your request.

The seller made me an offer, two new buttons 'Review Offer' appeared (a blue strip near the listing's header and a new button under BIN and Add To Cart buttons).

If I click any of them, a review window with offer details appears with Accept Offer button. After I click this one, another review window appears with fewer details, it has Accept Offer button too. But when I click it, I get an error message:
'There is an issue processing your request.'

I've tried another browser, tried clearing the cache of my browser, even installed an eBay app on a smartphone. The result is the same - error message.

What could go wrong?

I’m having the same problem. I messaged the seller and sent him the offer he sent me. Still no response. This should not be happening and needs to get fixed!
