Can not contact agent

I have tried several times over several days. The option to call or live chat with an agent has been taken away from me. If I someone manage to have the automated assistant say “have us call you: wait time is 8 minutes” and I click on this, then it says I need to contact when customer service is online. Even though it is the middle  the day? How can I be blocked from contacting an agent for help.

Most problems on eBay can be resolved without actually contacting an agent.

eBay has done away with most live helpful CS.

If you manage to speak to CS, there is an 80% chance you will not get help or the correct information.
