When I go to active listings>search>search by title SKU or item number - I NEED to be able to search by SKU (custom SKU) but NOT EXACT MATCH. For instance - I do my custom SKUs by location/date/code. So, in the example that I will send, I need to see all custom SKUs that contain the code NORM. I used to be able to do that and now I can't anymore! It does me no good to have to search by exact match - I have over 16,000 listings and need to be able to pull them up by my code - not an exact match for the whole custom SKU. Please fix this back to the way it was (not exact match). Very important to my business to search on my code. Thank you!

When I type in a SKU and press Enter from my keyboard, without selecting In Custom label (SKU) exact match from the drop-down, the listings are pulled up.

You can pull in variation level SKUs @mcdougle4248 , not just item level SKUs? I can't.

Oh sorry, I misunderstood...I cannot pull in variation level SKUs.

I'll add my support to this request. We use SKUs to identify the stock location (among other things) in the form [170102] indicating, for example rack 17 shelf 1 slot 2. It is currently impossible to carry out stock audits in our usual way, one rack at a time without entering each slot location separately. It would be much easier to be able to search on a partial match eg "[17" for the whole of rack 17. We introduced the square brackets specifically to make such searches easier by eliminating false matches.
I am reduced to exporting the listings and processing in a speadsheet to produce stock audit lists.
Partial match is pretty much database 101 for undergrad computing or even when I was teaching A level.
The lack of a partial match SKU search has been ongoing for at least 2 years so I'm not holding my breath.

Maybe even a separate fields for location and cost of goods.
