I am unable to log in today on FireFox. We keep getting the captcha, match it up, resend and then it takes us back to the captcha again over and over endlessly. It started around 4:30 AM PST. Prior to that it was working fine. Is anyone else having this problem?

I just tried using a private browser window in Firefox 83, and was able to sign in without issue.
If that does not work for you, what link are you using to sign in?
Try one of these instead:
https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SignIn2
https://www.ebay.com/signin/?sgn=reg&siteid=0
https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Other things that can cause issues: VPNs, scriptblockers.
You may want to try disabling your ad blocker (temporarily, or just on the sign-in page, though).
Here is the full list of suggestions:

Disabling the ad blocker just for the sign in page seems to have corrected the problem. It must have been caused by something new Ebay has just implemented because we have changed nothing and our sign in has been working properly for months up until today. I really wish that Ebay would make an announcement when they have made changes and users all of a sudden start have issues. At least it would give us a place to start! Thanks for your suggestions. It helped very much.

You are most welcome -- thanks for following up.
It is certainly possible that eBay changed something about the sign-in process; it is also possible that a change was made by a third party involved in the some other aspect of the Captcha or another of the anti-bot features, or a change on the part of the ad blocker or the blocking subscription list, or even a change in Firefox itself. In all likelihood it was a combination of factors interacting that was not anticipated by anyone.

Well From what I can tell. It just happened to me , I was stuck in a loop doing the puzzle piece over and over.
My privacy badger was blocking this (static.geetest.com) So had to turn it( badger) off. There is a reason I have it installed ,To block my privacy.. I have to turn off different add blockers or pop up blockers to get things to work on ebay often...... I have all my ad blockers and Privacy Blockers set up for a reason. Some days I can use Ebay no problem and other days I have to turn things off....... How much Info does Ebay really need from us?

The verification process likely involves writing and then reading a cookie in your browser. Since eBay relies on a third party to do the Captcha or verification, there is likely some sharing of cookies between different sites to determine if you have successfully signed in to eBay using that browser.
If your privacy settings prevent sharing of cookies between sites, that might be interfering with this process, possibly causing a loop. Firefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection has caused similar problems in the past, including other problems with cascading style sheets, causing some pages to load without formatting or graphics.
If possible, see if you can disable privacy badger just on the eBay sign-in page, or whichever page is causing the problem for you.

Couldn't login. Captcha kept repeating. Has to turn off VPN then it worked. Must be monitoring locations. Should at least let us know that.
