I can't seem to get my usual filters to show up to shop in the clothing catagory.   I get about 6 filters I can use and that is all.  Something is wrong and I hope it's fixed soon.  No reason to search if I can't search by brand, type and condition at the same time.

What filters you see can depend on which category you are searching; be sure you are searching the correct category for the filters you want to use.

What category are you searching?

Any difference if you try another browser? There are some things that can affect your ability to see various filters aside from changes with the filters themselves.

I'm searching in women's clothing specifically swimsuits.  I have searched this catagory thousands of times and was able to search every item specific catagory (I also sell in this catagory).  There are so many searchs available in swimwear,  but right now only about 6 show.  If I can't search for specific brands there is no point in shopping.  I have tried a different browser.  I just looked at other clothing catagories and they seem to be working correctly.

Check it out,  Pick a brand, any brand and try to find it in womens swimsuits.  Below are the filters available to me at least.   I use, brand, type and condition that is all.

Are you in Swimwear under the Women's Clothing category?

I typed swimwear into the search and selected that category from the filters on the left side of the page to wind up here:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=swimwear&_sacat=63867&_osacat=63867

Then I scrolled down to the "More filters" option on the left side of the search results, and selected "Brand" to see this:

If you do not see that, make sure you are in the right category; if it still does not show, try another browser to rule out a browser issue.

You can also enter the brand directly into search as a keyword if you are unable to find a specific brand in the list.

Thank you for taking the time to check it out.  Now if you wouldn't mind or anyone else.  Please try and not use the keyword to search.  This is the search results using keyword vs category.

110,000+ results for women's swimwear

1,000,000+ results for women's swimsuits

1,240,401 Results when no keyword is used.  Just drilling down by category Clothing, Shoes & Accessories, Women's clothing, Swimwear.   Hope this makes sense.  This is how I search and this is where the change has taken place.  I want the most results.    Searching other clothing items this way has all the filters as far as I can tell, just swimwear it lacking the options.

If you want to narrow to a particular brand, use the brand as a keyword.

Searching using keyword provides more options than browsing. Try it both ways and see which works better.

The point is that I get the most results shopping by category.  That mean my customers also get the most results shopping that way.  I don't want to limit my seach. Keywords do limit results which I have confimed . (see the above search results)

This is a glitch and customer service just confirmed what I have been asking about in this tread.  Now how do I get the tech people to fix the problem?  Women's swimwear is the only category of women's clothing this is missing filters.    This is what customer sevice said below.

"I did a bit of investigating here, both on my personal account and by looking at this category logged out completely, and those were the options I was seeing show up on my end as well. Furthermore, I checked and there does not seem to be any current glitches affecting this category.

What this tells me is, the site is working as designed and it is most certainly not just you! "

IT WASN'T DESIGNED THIS WAY.  Ebay wouldn't take 1 out of 16 clothing filters and limit search on just one.
