Whenever I attempt to change from USPS to Fedex for ANY address/label, it gives me this message: "FedEx shipping labels can't be printed on eBay for PO Boxes or APO, FPO, or DPO addresses. Please print a USPS label instead."
I assure you, the addresses are not military or PO boxes.
Have had this issue for a few weeks now. I rarely use Fedex, but when I do it saves me a lot of money.
I've called in, they made a ticket. But the issue continues. Please fix this for me. I don't think it's affecting any others, but if you are experiencing this, please post!
Thinking back on the very first time this happened.. I think it was actually for a PO Box. I believe the buyer chose Fedex Smartpost when paying. I agreed with the error message and shipped it USPS. That was 2 or 3 months ago. Have gotten this message ever since. Even on those I don't intend to ship via Fedex, if I try to switch to Fedex, it gives me the same error message.

Nothing odd about the shipments. I can go into any sold listing and attempt to switch the label over to fedex (even when not intending to) and it'll get the error. The addresses are normal streets.
It's gotta be just MY account. Somethings goofy in it and I can't think of anything that I've done on my side that made it screwy. I used to be able to print Smartpost all the time! Love Smartpost, saves so much money!
Tried all the things I could think of: Chrome vs. Firefox vs. Edge. Laptop vs Desktop. All same message.

Open your own FedEx account, and link it to eBay to get the same discounts. Then ship from the FedEx website, which is best to do anyway. Note that Smartpost is not available on the FedEx site.

Yes, you do have to request that SmartPost be enabled on your account, but unless something has changed you can't print those labels from the FedEx website. You either have to sign up to use the full FedEx Ship Manager app, or download and use the free and easy ShipRush for FedEx desktop, to print them.

The online Ship Manager is limited, both the regular and the lite. The downloaded desktop Ship Manager has all the features available.

Simplier with even more useful features is the free ShipRush for FedEx. This program supports direct import from eBay with tracking upload, and import from many other venues including PayPal, has more printer and output options, plus other nice options.

I, too, ran into this problem today for the first time. After searching for help through the community here, and not finding it, I figured out what my problem was. MY address, my ship from address on the label printing page, was a PO Box. When I changed that to my physical address and eliminated my PO Box, it let me select FedEx. Maybe this is your problem too!!

I'm one of posters that was able to get SmartPost added to my FedEx account. I just sent them a list of the previous month's SmartPost shipments on eBay to show I how often use it and explained about the bug in eBay's code that won't allow you to print a FedEx SmartPost label for a PO Box. The agent found that hilarious and helped me through the process to get it authorized. I've actually used it several times since then for PO Box shiping.
Oh and when they ask if this is for "business shipping" just say it's a home business (which it is).
