When printing labels from eBay, we are printing to a Zebra thermal printer, for the last week the labels are printing OK, but along with the label, the printer is spitting out an extra blank label behind it as if the label is 2 pages. We tried to send it to the printer by altering the print page 1-1, and it is still printing the second blank label, essentially wasting 50% of our labels.
Make sure you have the correct length of label selected in your ZPL driver. Sounds like your printer is acting as if you have selected a longer label length than the size you are using. For example: If you have 4X6 selected but are using 4x5 labels it will always print a second label until you change the label length setting.
We have been printing to our zebra printer for years, no settings were changed. Same labels we always use.
Sometimes an update will occur for one program but it will also change something in an unrelated program. Sometimes you can call the manufacturer and they know exactly what settings are creating the issue.
