My 'Purchases' page (in default view) now shows my most recent orders as usual ...with (bizarrely) orders from September 2021 to January 2020 in descending order listed below them. What's worse is that these orders from 2+ years ago have no 'hide order' option - although they shouldn't be showing at all as they would have been hidden at the time.
What possible reason can there be for you imagining that a default view should include items from over two years ago? - 2022's items aren't even listed; just this strange 'archive' of things I've already checked and received and hidden.
And for the record - I've been able to reproduce this on three different PCs and two different browsers; so it isn't some sort of local 'cookie' issue; somebody at eBay has set the page up to display this way!
...Why - as UI designers - would you impose (upon the end-user) the inconvenience of having to 'reset' the view to the current year every time the page loads; or otherwise put up with a page cluttered by information that is highly unlikely to be of current relevance to the user?
There are many other 'howlers' with the eBay UI, which have persisted for years. - eBay's shipping and search policies have made it impractical for UK buyers to purchase from the US, Ireland or Europe. - and there seems to be a blatant agenda to promote - often dangerous and illegal - Chinese junk over goods from more reliable countries and individual sellers.
20+ years an eBay user... and it just gets worse and worse and worse by the day. Is it any wonder I purchase only a tiny fraction of what I used to via eBay? And I suspect I'm not unique in that respect!

To be noted here is that - obviously fearful of legitimate criticism - the eBay moderator has edited my post. This does not however change the cold hard fact that the coding of this eBay page is grossly incompetent; and that such a poor level of understanding of UI design (and I speak here as a former College Lecturer in the subject) fails to meet even basic academic standards...
Apparently eBay would like me to 'respect' their incompetence. - Well as one of the people who has been filling Ebay's coffers for in excess of 20 years I point blank refuse to do so; and my (statutory) rights to freedom of expression do nor require me to kow-tow to those who resort to that most pitiful of cowardices; censorship; especially that where there is no right or means of reply given. - shame on YOU Ebay!

If you posted a screenshot it was probably removed due to showing personal data (yours, mostly).
Is this the URL you are using to view your purchases?
https://www.ebay.com/mye/myebay/v2/purchase
Choices for 'See orders' are Last 60 days - 2023 - 2022 or 2021. Which setting are you using?
I tried to reproduce the problem on my own Purchases pages at that URL above but I am not seeing old purchases come up unless I go looking for them using the See orders setting.

I and others have the same Problem. The "My Ebay" page, under "Orders", keeps showing me everything I ever bought in the last three years. I can't get it to stop.

My https://my.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&View=WonNext&Column=SaleDate&SubmitAction.ChangeFilt... page (per itsjustasprain 's post) is the correct URL, but I have at least three stubborn items from November 2021 and 2022 that have popped back up, seemingly randomly, and there's no option to hide them again. I also have *everything before the current date in 2021* showing back up, even though it was all hidden.
It seems as though one of these items have "lost" their status - i.e. they were once delivered, but now they're "shipped". The other two, I have no idea why they're there in that page. I'm pretty religious about cleaning up that page and keeping it clean (that's how I keep track of who I leave feedback for - I leave feedback for an order, then I hide it.)
But yes, I have it currently set to "All".
I see:
- One order that I have outstanding that needs feedback (waiting on item - has hide option)
- Three orphaned items that are from later in 2021 than today's date (10/1/2023) (no hide option - already hid them)
- And then I see all my purchases that I previously hid prior to 10/1/2021 (no hide option, already hid them)
What's the point of hiding purchases if they'll show back up two years later?
I've tried using Safari, Chrome, and Edge on my Mac. No change.
ebay definitely has a bug.

I'm having this problem, too. I have seven pages of old purchases going back to January of 2020 that were all hidden but have now re-appeared in my purchase history. There is NO option to hide them again. Only new purchases that have not yet been hidden have a hide option.
My purchase page is set to See Orders > All. The only other options I have for that are: See Orders - 2023, 2022, and 2021. There is no longer any option to view hidden orders.
Purchases made, received, and hidden since this problem began occurring have not reappeared. Only previously hidden orders from March 2023 and older are showing up again.
It's especially frustrating since I make it a point to hide purchases that have already arrived, and I'm being forced to wade through 3 years of purchases again.
I spoke at length with someone from customer service last week about this, and they assured me that they would contact a senior engineering team about the problem. I got the impression this was just a canned response.
