Bizarre Occurrence This Afternoon

I have a touch screen computer and was replying to a message this afternoon and my finger must of hit his user name instead of the message reply and all of a sudden my screen

showed the E-Bay log in screen with his name and password already entered.  I was shocked and hit the X button, how can this happen?

Just 2 wks ago, I had my credit card on file compromised, that card was used for pay pal and E bay no where else ever.  Could this of happened to maybe someone else and they got my log in and password?  Nevertheless, I now log in the "slow way", need to put all my information in the long way now.

You hit a link that goes to a login screen, and pre-populates the screen with stored data (e.g. cookies) from your own machine if the form field name matches one that is stored on your computer. However, you would not have that other person's login password; it most likely put in one of yours. Had you tried to log in, I seriously doubt it would have worked. You might retracing your steps just for yucks; see if you can provoke it into doing that again.

No. What you might want to check for is a keylogger virus on your own machine that you might have picked up someplace, and that would transfer your keystrokes (especially for logins) to a bad actor elsewhere.
