Asking for constant logins

I am often being asked to login to view, or bid, after I am already logged-in to eBay.  This has been going on for about 2+ weeks now.  Example for today - I am logged-in to ebay, I go to an item I previously bid on when it first went on auction to raise my bid - I activate the raise bid entry and I am asked to login - I login in and then enter the new amount and hit bid - I am then asked to login again - I login again - I am asked to confirm the bid so I hit confirm - I am then asked to login in again - by now the auction has closed while I spent excessive time loggin-in for every move.  There are other times being asked illogical logins when none are required - going from viewing an item back to my Bids & Offers screen and being asked to login again.  If I stay off eBay for a day or more, everything works fine for maybe a day, and then back to the same problem.  The Team Member I spoke with tonight - Fred - was trying to assist in resolving the problem, but , as luck would have it, the system worked perfectly while he looked at my actions upon his suggestions (which were what I normally do anyway).  I've lost several bids on items due to the time spent having to constantly login.  Hopefully, I will not be asked to login just so I can login.  Anybody with a similar problem or resolution / solution to this issue?

Asking for constant logins

If you have not already, try this...

My eBay > Account > Site preferences > General preferences > Other general preferences > Yes Yes > Apply
