8th Account Hold In 1 Year! Help!!!

Hi,

I've been selling on Ebay for nearly 20 years. I started a new account last September. I have sold roughly $400,000 worth of goods to date (with the new account) and am a top rated seller in every category; I qualified as soon as possible and have maintained that record. I have 100% perfect feedback.

For some reason, I have experienced 8-10 account holds, one every month that I run an auction. As soon as the auction ends and the payments start coming in, a hold is placed on the account. I've spoken with at least 10 different customer service reps and no one has been able to definitively explain why this is happening or do anything about it. On some occasions when calling customer service I have been passed to the leadership team and with some back and forth they submit something internally and the funds are usually released in 2-3 days but this requires me to be on the phone for upwards of an hour and sometimes it can be very frustrating.

I'm nearly at my wit's end. The idea of having to wait 7-10 days to be paid when the funds are available is tough. It's more maddening when there's no given reason or end in sight. This could go on for the next 10 years even though I have proven myself time and time again to be a trusted and reliable seller. Does anyone have any insight/ideas about how I can get this to stop happening. It's making me want to quit selling on Ebay entirely.

Thank you for any thoughts/help,

BGH

@the-big-game-hunter

Could be the way you're doing your auctions.

You don't sell anything since Nov 8th, then you run 350 auctions to end the same day.

Try spreading them out.

Want to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Independence Day.

Thank you for the suggestion. I do it all at once because it's easier to manage shipping and attract buyers listing like items together rather than sporadically listing them. My 20 years experience has shown that the items also perform better when listed together in concentration.
