Hello everyone interested.
I am an established ebay seller who has been listing one by one for a long time, then I started using the bulk upload CSV option and that has been somewhat OK. I have now moved on to try listing with Developer Access which I now have.
Can anyone point me in the right direction to some direction on how the process works?
I've tried searching here but I'm not sure I even know what to search for.
Thanks!

What programming language would you be using to develop the application?

It's seeming like it would be Python. At this point I am looking to understand the process of feeding listings to ebay with as much detail as possible. Right now, with my current knowledge of how the Bulk CSV option works I can only import 11 pieces of information. That leaves me with a lot of bulk editing like updating location, weight, size, brand, model....
Maybe I am mistaken but at this point it seems like learning the API side is the most beneficial, most efficent way to list large quantites of items.
I've posted a message looking for information about the Bulk CSV method and received very little additional information. It's nobody's responsibility, just looking for advice.

I have created a package in C# but it should give you an overview on how to get tokens etc.

Thank you! I really aprreciate the help.
My son will be helping me with some of this week as he is here for a few days and he is a newer developer but he has experience. We made some progress last night. The first issue was that I had to agree to some sort of notifications about Production access, not really clear on it but I checked the boxes and that is turned on now.
Current issue that we will work on later is that we aren't fully understading how to associate my developer access with my ebay seller account. It seems like it is making the connection but we are not receiving a token back or we are misunderstanding something. It was late when he looked at it so we will pick it up today. I've tried asking google and chatgpt and they have ideas but none that have worked the way they say they will.
Thanks again. Any additional insight would be appreciated.

Hello @weirdstuffoutlet,
Steps to successfully associate a seller account with your application and implement the OAuth authorization flow to retrieve tokens:
1. Direct the seller (which can be you) to eBay’s authorization URL using your App ID and Redirect URL.
2. The seller signs in and grants your application access.
3. eBay redirects the seller to your specified Redirect URL with an authorization code.
4. Exchange the authorization code for a user access token via eBay’s token endpoint.
5. User access tokens typically expire in about two hours. For long-term access, obtain and securely store a refresh token, and use it to programmatically request new user access tokens as needed.
For more information, please refer to: https://developer.ebay.com/develop/guides-v2/authorization/authorization#overview

Thank you for that! We did make a sucessful connection with the seller account and in theory should be able to start posting listings that are active.
I assume the best place to start is to read whatever API documentation is here in the API developer website.
Thanks again!
