I was moving some stuff out of my dad's storage place and he had a tub full of some playboy magazines. He threw out 2 crates full of them but this one wasn't touched. I stopped my dad from throwing them out and said that some might be valuable. He claims that he bought all of them originally. I found a 1993 Dan Aykroid issue. I am not really knowledgeable about any of this and I looked around and saw that one with the actual receipt is being sold for $5,000 but yet some copies are being sold very cheap (assuming not original). I have no clue how to check for authenticity and am even unsure of whether there are methods to do so such as looking at the way the magazines were printed, age of paper, binding, ect. I also have no clue where to go in my local area to get confirmation about the authenticity of the issue. Any advice?
