ordering?

Anonymous
Not applicable

I am unable to place an order. I get a pop up that says I have spent too much when I have not spent anything.  What is the problem .I called customer service and they said my account was on hold but would not tell me why or what I can do.

Re: ordering?

All I can think of if your account is indeed on hold, did you have another account that has been restricted for any reason? If so, you can not open a new account to override restrictions eBay placed.

Re: ordering?

Did you have another account recently and it was suspended? If yes, eventually this one will be suspended too.  Ebay uses your IP address and also the device ID # to determine if a suspended ebayer comes back with a new ID.

Re: ordering?

This might happen if you have a lot of active bids on a lot of items, as this would result in spending a lot if you win a lot of the auctions.

Re: ordering?

New buyers will have buying limits.

Have you bid on or made offers on any items?

Have a great day.
