my account had managed payments activate on Monday morning.
eBay promised the fees will be less than they were before, they are not. I pay 30c more per item now.
Also eBay promises payments will be paid out in 2 days. They are not. It is now the end of the 2nd business day after MP activation and I have rec'd $0. This is now in the 3rd that eBay has my money and I have nothing yet.
A payout has been initiated but it is processing. So now I have had payments "received" on Monday and sent the items out already, and have not rec'd a dime.
Does this get better or will I curse eBay with every item I send without being paid for it? If I add a 2 day or longer handling time, do the payments stay pending until I send it? Or is it still 2 days to process the payment regardless of how many days I take to send it?
They even pad the time it takes by adding a blurb that blames the delay on my bank. It says it can take 3-4 business for my bank to make the funds available, I checked with my bank and they say it will be available as soon as they have the money. Initiating a payment after 2 days then having a processing time, is not what they promised when they tried to sell me on this managed payments **bleep**.
With PayPal I would have had the money on Monday. eBay managed payments is not a benefit for me. I pay more and get paid much later.
How is this a benefit for anyone except eBay? I wish they would stop promoting it as something good for sellers, as far as I can see it isn't.
