Small businesses need their money immediately! We should not have to use this antiquated way of getting paid, especially when they had a perfectly good system in place before where we had immediate access to OUR money. BRING BACK PayPal!!!!

They do not usually send money on weekends or holidays, and your bank would not process the incoming payments on those days anyway. They are not stealing your money. You need to get used to the system. Also, check to see if there is some reason why they might be having a problem sending the payout.

Are your payouts set to daily or weekly? They won't process on weekends or public holidays. You can see the reports for everything Hub / payments / reports that have been paid so far. And the rest still owing would come through after weekend or unless there is a public holiday the weekend payments would be processed the following day.

OP, the issue involves processing payments (funds going from pending / processing to available). Likely early this morning all your sale proceeds were "pending" and you had no available funds. For whatever reason eBay stops processing MP transactions early on Friday and doesn't start again until late Sunday. For the seller it means the Monday morning ACH transfer is usually pretty small and doesn't include most Friday and weekend sales. The Tuesday morning ACH transfer is the one that typically contains most Friday thru Sunday sales. The ACH transfer can then take a day or so to reach your bank. As a seller, four days from sale to your bank account is about the fastest you'll ever see your money, but most of the time it will be five or six days.

I understand Managed Payments now~ but it is sad that Pay Pal is gone for sellers as that was instant money~They say is managed payments letter that we get paid the next day, true but it had to complete the process 1st, then the next buisness day they send it THEN THE NEXT DAY WE GET IT, so it is not the next day after you sell something it is how they worded it to their beniefit

OK I have not opted in. So bc of this, my sales are next to nothing the last week or so. AM I getting no visibility unless someone searches for my things, or is this bc no one is getting the extra unemployment? Is everyone slow since the end of August? Both? It says I had to register by July, which I did not and I had a great August.
So, can I not refuse to take anything but Paypal?
I find it hard to believe that if we pay fees on tax as well that our fees end up being less overall.
So, the biggest complaint is slower to get paid? What about chargebacks from credit cards, are they absorbing those?

I just finished texting w/ eBay customer service. They told me there was a change on the site in August: it takes 2 business days to send Managed Payments $$ for a purchase. Also, they no longer make payments at all on the weekend. So if an item is purchased early Thursday morning, it will not be sent out until Monday. That doesn't mean Received!!! I was given a link to see the new rule. It was not clearly stated.

They said they were paying out $$ they had not received yet. Now, they are holding $$ 2 business days. Then paying out to sellers. No payments on weekends. So Thurs sale will be paid Monday. Then start travel to your bank.

"We will gladly pay you Tuesday for a sale sometime last week."
Sooo true it's NOT "Next Day". So isn't it basically a weekly payout anyway? Unless weekly is monthly now.
I wish Paypal was an option to keep using as instantaneous payouts were ideal for me. I don't mind paying the fee to have funds now instead of maybe four days from now if it falls on the calendar right and avoids holidays and eBay team-building exercises.
But another significant issue I will have with delayed payouts is purchasing. I trade alternative assets (sports memorabilia) and if I do not have funds, I can not purchase items which also means I will have less to sell in the near future. Double bad for me and eBay.
The intend for eBay was for more control and money. The effect for me is less money and less sales. I can't see how they don't make less by making it harder on their clients. "Cater to you customers", nah, Dictate to your customers, what are they gonna do?

I also have not opted in. Like all the unfolding agendas in the world atm, there is more to this than just control. Its also an obvious way for the govt to keep track of every transaction as they are forcing us to a cashless society and squeezing out independent entities like Paypal, for their own sole purpose to track and monitor and surveil us, and to charge TAX on everything. Most Australian sellers on Ebay are small businesses, or work from home, part-time, casual or supplementary income. This is just another control mechanism to dictate to us their terms of using the Ebay platform. We pay enough in fees to Ebay every month, without further restrictions on how we receive our hard-earnt income. The other thing is that Managed Payments is totally set to benefit the buyer, giving them options of Afterpay etc etc, which also means Ebay makes more profit!!!! And we get taxed by govt as its going into our bank accounts!!!! The Afterpay scheme/scam is just another way to get buyers in debt!!! We should all say NO to Ebay, we dont want Managed Payments and align with Paypal, and think about changing platforms. How many sellers have other Ecommerce sites up and running? Would love to hear from you! Time to take our power back Australian people!!!! I suggest a mass boycott and force the big boys to surrender! 😁
