Your seller's fees are egregious. Your ability to valuate an item based on your conception evaluation is skewed. Your monthly payout numbers are wildly inaccurate. Yes you can buy into a storefront to reduce that 13.5% fee, but it is then mitigated when you apply an additional tax on resale items. I even live in a tax exempt state, where resale items are untaxed, yet you find it appropriate to add a tax to your own valuations. So you wanted to get as close as you could to valuing items and take to a quarter of the overall (+/-)? eBay went from standing up for the consumer to standing on top of them. Yes people, I fully understand the business model and tos. I own multiple entities. We have since moved a few million in inventory and vestment from this company. If you like doing business here, keep that to yourself, no one **bleep** cares. For the rest of us, go elsewhere...

Are you aware that, when you post here, you're not addressing eBay or its employees?
These Boards are made up of experienced eBay sellers and buyers who volunteer their time here to help others when we can.
Therefore, it's not our fees that are egregious.
In what way or what place does eBay evaluate items? The seller is the one who prices his items for sale.
The state sales tax which eBay is required by law to charge is calculated on the delivery address of the buyer, not the seller.
Can you show us an example where eBay's final value fee was 25%?
Will be awaiting your reply.
Can you show us an example where the

Hmmm, so if someone like me enjoys doing business on this platform you are saying I should keep that to myself, but it is perfectly fine for you to post that you aren't happy here? On a public forum comprised of other sellers and buyers. On a forum specifically designed for other sellers and buyers to post comments and offer assistance to others. Now you feel it is designed only for yourself to post on. Hmmm, best of luck to you....

You own multiple entities and just moved a few million in inventory here, but you dont know that the state tax is applied from the buyers state, and resale items are not exempt in any state? Ok.

I don't want to repeat what lamber9347 posted, so you should refer to that yourself.
You state so much misinformation about eBay. Maybe you were just too busy with your multiple "entities" to take a look at what you were getting into with eBay.
I do like doing business here, and I will not keep that to myself.
Just this morning, my selling ID listed an item as a five-day auction with a very reasonable 30%-plus-one-penny more than the minimal starting bid as a Buy It Now price. Within the first hour, my item sold at the precise Buy It Now price. Such a quick sale has never happened to me before, and I am quite pleased.
I have another active listing, a 10-day auction that will end next Friday, and will sell for at least $100.00, when most of my recent sales have been well under $30.00. Other listings of the same item have sold for $175 and $200, and I am very hopeful that there will be a few more bidders among the 14 current watchers. I'm selling that item on behalf of a group I belong to, and I look forward to sharing the proceeds of that sale.
Glad the OP gave eBay a fair shot, though.

Nobody here is from eBay. You are free to shop and sell wherever you'd like. Bon voyage ... and have a good life!

You did not remove a few million of anything from your posting account. For the rest of you, sayonara.

No you haven't, you have been here since 2001 and show one page of feedback. I think you may be getting the words 'egregious' and 'exaggeration' confused.....
