Help for new people on ebay

What are the benefits for new people and how can someone get them easily ?

I think as a seller my choice in how I receive my payments is my business. If a customer pays me right away ebay has no reason to be holding my money and making me wait 5-7 days to get paid as well as telling me I have to ship before I even get paid....

My information is up-to-date and I had a payout just a week ago. Nothing has changed. There is no way of chatting with an agent directly. It asks for my phone number but my phone is currently locked. Why isn't there a simple chat feature?
