Transaction fees

Um excuse me, I was never told I would be deducted 1/6 of my listing price for something that PayPal does for free. Since I can’t attach images here ask for it on my email.

On the Airsoft gun I see $ 56.58 shipping to my location plus my state would charge 6% sales tax.  So the total for that $ 150 item for me would be about $ 218.98 and that is what your Selling fees would be based on, the total amount at 13.25% Fee rate = $ 29.01 approx fees.

I included that link to Selling fees on my post up thread.  Just wanted to make sure you knew that Selling fees are taken out of every transaction.

Hi @lomul-6658

While we do not have access to member's accounts in this Community space we can see that your account goes back to January of 2023.  Below is a link to eBay's Sellers fees and you have sold 5 items in the last 90 days.  eBay charges Selling fees like most other online sales venues, below is a link to the Help Pages that explains them.  Fees are based on the item Price, the Paid shipping by Buyers and Sales tax levied on a transaction (if applicable).

I assume you noticed fees were taken out of your sales as far back as January this year?!?

As far as 1/6 goes, which item and what was the sold amount plus paid shipping, etc.?

1/6 = 16.7% but that is for the entire Gross transaction amount.  Fees on just the item are per the help page.  eBay gives Sellers a discount printing labels through them that helps offset the Fees charged on shipping.

eBay charges final value fees on all sales that include payment processing fees which are only free at PayPal for friends and family payments drawn on a bank account.

From your opening post:  "Since I can’t attach images here ask for it on my email."
From your second post:    "Beautiful, there is censorship"

My guess is that your opening post included your email address, and a moderator deleted it, which you consider "censorship".

How would you feel if that email address started getting rude, threatening, violent, obscene, or just plain obnoxious messages?   Really, the moderator protected you by doing his/her job.
