Recieved random deposit from eBay

I have not sold an item yet and 150$ was added to my bank for "ACH EOD Bank Processing". Should I expect this deposit to be removed or keep it I'm not sure what to do.

Note the listing ended 5:31 pm.  If that was the seller's time zone then it was 2:31 pm  eBay time. It appears to have sold a couple of hours after he (we) posted. 

That is really weird but time stamps are what they are.

@fab_finds4u, you're right, it wasn't sold at the time the OP posted.

I didn't have time to investigate the time zones earlier, but I just went back and checked.

1. OP started this thread at 12:05 pm PDT (Pacific Daylight time).
2. OP's auction-format listing ended at 2:31 pm PDT.

At the time I was wondering if there might have been another listing on OP's account that ended earlier, but wasn't being shown in their sold listings for some reason (many listings are not shown in sold listing search). It's possible, but as far as I can see, there's no evidence that this might have been the case.

Hello,

if you know it's not yours leave it be, they will see they made a mistake and they will take it back out. No way should you keep it, especially if you know its not your money from a sale. 

If this happened to me, the first thing I'm doing is calling ebay to bring it to their attention right away. Because if I know it's not mine, that wouldn't even be a thought in my head to keep it.

Well, I'm even more confused, too. Are you certain  that the money has been deposited into your account?

It just shows the first item I sold which the seller has not payed for yet

Did you make any purchases or offers that were close to that amount? If it's definitely a deposit, not a deduction, then it might be a refund.

Did you have any other listings, other than the auction that ended June 8, that we can see on your account?

Do you have any other eBay accounts?

Does anyone in your household have another eBay account?

I'd contact my bank, let them know the deposit is questionable and not spend that "deposit",  until they had a chance to investigate.
