Problems adding Chime as a payment option

I used to sell quite a bit of stuff on ebay, then I stopped because they stopped working with paypal. Now I want to start selling again but I am not able to load my new Chime account as a payment option. I tried in any possible way (manual input routing and account number and logging into the trustly with online banking credentials). Now I cannot even start the automatic process, when I select Chime from the list of banks it immediately tells me " Sorry, we are unable to connect to your bank at this time. Please try again later. "

Anybody has been recently successfully added a Chime account as a payment option?

I posted on another thread on which users discussed the inability to link Chime accounts to eBay.  I opened a Chime account specifically to accept payments on eBay to adhere to their new payments policy.  I recently tried linking but failed each time; the latest attempt was 6/08/22. I spoke with eBay reps on three separate occasions; the rep I spoke with today finally knew the issue that they cannot link to Chime, because eBay does not have a way to check the account's credentials.  On the other thread, some posts stated that Chime is not an actual "bank", which is consistent with the message I received from the eBay rep today.  Too bad because Chime seems very reputable. This has been very frustrating.

I've had the same issue with no resolution from eBay yet. I've used eBay for 24 years now and their support for the seller has really dissolved.  Such a shame. I've contacted both Chime and eBay support to try and get some support, and Chime says that eBays software is not even reaching out to Chime for validation. Now, eBay is escalating my support request (what ever that means) to get it resolved and promised a call back by Sunday. I'm stuck with a balance on my account, and I hope they figure this out quickly.

I had the same exact problems with Ebay and Chime.

So I opened a Cash App account to accept payments from Ebay.

It seemed to work after I updated my account information and gave Ebay the New Cash App routing # and Account # Ebay sent me an email stating that I was successful at updating my bank account information and Ebay had removed the restrictions they had on my seller account. 

Ebay made (2) micro deposits into the new cash app account and I received confirmation from Ebay that it was successful. I don't know what Ebay's  major malfunction is going on but I still haven't received my money into the new account that Ebay confirmed with the micro deposits. 

I get a message saying that I need to update my account information still.

But Nobody can e explain exactly what information they need me to update or even why I need to do it ? 

Ebay Customer service is absolutely no help. Seller support can't even get anyone to help with my problem.

I'm ready to find other's with this similar situation and start a class action lawsuit aginst Ebay. It's totally criminal what they are doing. 

I'm being punished for their inability to fix the problems with their own software being unable to validate my bank information ? 

That's what I'm being told by Ebay.

Then how the hell did the micro deposits Ebay sent happen ?

Chime is not recognized as a banking institution,  which the government requires for verification of accounts.

It does not meet  ACH requirements.

These requirements  are due to the increase amount of money laundering,  spying and fraud which occurs on line.      See Merrirmack NH spy rink that laundered money and sent prohibited parts to Russia using an Etsy account.

No one on Ebay can help you.
