Payouts

For the past 3 months I have been receiving daily payouts with no issues. This morning I receive a e-mail from ebay saying that they could not send my payout and may be a problem with my bank.  Ebay, there is no problem with my bank and as usual the problem is on your end.  I have been waiting for this to happen because everything ebay trys is a disaster.  I had paypal for years and never had any issues receiving my money.  Typical ebay. I am so tired of this nonsense!!

Same here as everyone else. I screenshot all the messages, just so I can prove how much is in limbo in case the whole thing crashes. lol Of course being new to managed payments, I bothered my bank as well when it's totally just an Ebay issue 😕 

 

Dear Ebay, you have bitten off more than you can chew. Which is weird since Paypal was an Ebay subsidiary at one time, you would think they would've just kept the same work model.....

Same here.. And whats worse.. You cant contact anyone in ebay. No call back.. Thier phone # is disconnected for customer support.. Only Tech issues and that gets you no where either.. No one to talk too.. UGH...

 

This seems to be happening to a lot of people today..

Same issue here. Called my bank and wasted a bunch of time this morning only to find this thread and learn that it's clearly an eBay issue. Wait time for eBay call-back system is 2 hours! So disappointing.

Same issue here, no record of a pending payment on my bank account either.  This is unacceptable!

Glitches happen but to not send out an simple email immediately stating "Disregard the last email, we are working on it" is just irresponsible. How many labor hours has this issue already stolen from various banks?

I just checked, and I received mine.  So it's not across the board that this is happening.  I hope that it is resolved quickly for those that are having this issue.  Particularly difficult during this time of year.

Same here! Got a e-mail stating we ran into a problem with your bank account. Please check to see if the bank account information you entered is correct or contact your bank for details. 

Why would I change my bank account info when I know I am getting money. Duh!  I hope they soon get this glitch on ebay's end fixed.

What do we do, call them or just wait to see if it goes through later today?  Any body know.

I immediately called my bank, which confirmed the payment from Dec. 1st has cleared this morning, but they saw no error on their end. It is clearly on Ebay's.

This makes me very nervous about the stability of the payment system in general. I really miss Paypal & wish I had never signed up for managed payments. Also the lack of support, cant get anyone on the phone to even answer a question at Ebay.

I stopped selling on Etsy for this very reason.

Ebay is my last selling venue & I am not feeling confident in my future with only Ebay's managed payments.

Managed payments are horrible! Ebay is essentially holding money from honest, loyal sellers, and, in many cases for days, simply to earn money for themselves. Then today (12/2) I receive an email saying "your bank declined the payout". SERIOUSLY? They are not even taking ownership for THEIR error! I highly doubt all of our banks failed on the same day. Despicable on their part!

Well I think ebay should give us a discount this month on sellers fees.  This is for the time I spent calling my bank, which I know was ebay playing the "blame game" and was a waste of out time!

Yeah it's all smoke and mirrors with eBay. They put us on a wild goose chase with that email blaming our banks for their problem. This is the path eBay takes on all  technical issues. We all know this by now, they hide in the shadows while leaving us for dead. A Total Hypocrisy
