Payment declined

I just had a payment say "declined waiting for retry" on 12/2 at 00:25 hours and I have not changed any of my information. How can I tell if this is a problem with eBay or my bank? When will it retry? Daily like my payout schedule?

I have the same problem just this morning. I called my bank and they said the problem is on Ebay's end. I get payouts daily, including yesterday so there is no issue with my bank acct info. Also the bank said that they are not able to decline a direct deposit. They just receive the money, there is no way to block it from coming in.

Just received the same message. Very frustrating. I so wish we could go back to PayPal. They knew how to do it. eBay has no idea, in my estimation. Will be watching this thread.

I am having the same issue this morning, and also I've had no change in my bank account info. I feel as if this is a glitch on eBay's end, however I still spent the last half hour trying to figure out what went wrong with no success.  It seems back in Sept they also had a glitch with payouts processing, I wasn't affected then but I read on someone else's post the following; 

 

"Another seller said they were told by eBay support that "declined" doesn't mean "bounced by the bank", it actually means "we didn't bother trying"."  

 

So I don't think the problem is with our bank accounts.  Still very frustrating as this will no delay receiving my funds even further!

Same problem here.

Also I can't ask a question here on the forum unless it's responding to one someone else posted.

I have been trying to send an invoice since around 5PM EST last night and that keeps hitting a sorry it's us not you message.  

Anyone feel like we are sweeping the floor on the Titanic while it's sinking?

I got a payout on Friday last week, today a payout was sent and then got a “We have a problem” message. 

Obviously my bank info did not change. This is a problem on Ebay end.

I have the same issue. I contacted my bank and they said they had not rejected any deposit from Ebay into my account.  Tried to contact ebay through their customer service chat and their call back option, but both services appear to be unresponsive.

Got a deposit yesterday. Bank said this is an ebay problem, they do not decline deposits.

 

Of course customer service is down also.

I also this morning received a decline payment to my bank. I have been receiving daily payments to my bank with no issue until now. Reading the messages I feel kind of better since I am not the only one. Is there a phone number to talk to a real person about this? I need this money in my account just like all of you. Please advise. Thank you!

Also have declined payout, navy federal credit union, back office says that they have had at least 25 calls from people asking about this issue definitely an eBay glitch these payments haven’t even been sent to the banks affected (which seems like all) it’s a great time to do this (heaviest shopping season of the year when people have credit extended for inventory and such)

I'm sure the banks of loving the fact that they have to deal with angry customers on behalf of an email that tries to pass the buck.  It seems like this is an issue for everyone, so eBay should have put out an email immediately
