Payment bouncing back?

Hello,

I have been trying to pay for a bid that I won using my credit card, but it seems that every time I pay for it, I’m almost immediately seeing the money coming back to me on my credit card.  I’ve tried four times in two days and the payment won’t go through. I’ve just tried with PayPal and same thing, eBay still says I need to pay for it. 
I’ve just used the same credit card and also PayPal for two other payments on other bids, so the problem does not to be on my end.

What should I do? Did the seller block me or something?

If I understand you correctly, you are able to pay for the item, but it then returns the money to your account. So your account shows a debit and then a credit, right?  If that's the case, I would suspect there's something wrong with the sellers account. About all you can do is try getting a call back at the bottom of this page, otherwise ask the seller to cancel the transaction.

This is happening to me right now! Can I ask what you did to rectify? What was actually the issue?

The same issue is happening to me. When trying to pay for the items I won in the auction, I'm met with an error message. Afterwards, my money is instantly refunded. I can buy other items just fine, tested it a few minutes ago, from other sellers. The seller of the items seems to be fairly new, so it must be an issue on their end. I already requested them to cancel the transaction, but I'm afraid I'll still be hit with an "unpaid item strike" because I'm unable to pay due to this issue.

This does NOT necessarily mean there is something wrong with your seller or their listings.  This could be a problem with your credit card, a seller issue or a glitch on the site.  Or maybe something else.

At the point I'm posting this, there are three different buyers [including you] that are saying roughly the same thing.  That is very concerning.

I'm going to tag this thread so that we can hopefully get to the bottom of the issue so that all three of you can have answers.
