Hey everyone,

I am facing a problem with my payment.

I am using a visa card as a payment option since there is no PayPal in my country (Lebanon).

However, I have used my card hundreds of times on eBay, but today my payments did not go through.

There are limits on online banking over here and I recently tried using the card and the payments did not go through. I contacted the customer support and they advised me to contact PayPal (which is also impossible from where I am) since PayPal handles all of eBay's payments.

I have cleared things with the bank however, and my payments are working perfectly elsewhere.

Nonetheless, my feedback on eBay is 100% positive and I am a prompt payer.

Can you help me resolving this complicated matter?

I am in US and don't know anything about your situation. I am just curious. You say that you used credit card hundreds of times on ebay. As far as I know, Paypal has been pretty much the only way of paying for purchases on US ebay. Or did you use credit card on other countries' ebay sites?

Many US sellers are now in managed payments (MP) and all of them will be by the end of 2021. What it means for the buyers worldwide is that buyers will be able to use credit cards on ebay site (without needing a paypal account). Other forms of payments will also be accepted google, apple etc.

AT this point, I can only advise you to check which sellers are in MP and buy from them. The attached JPG shows which payment methods you can use to purchase from a seller. These sellers who display these logos are already in MP.

hello, i'm from UK, i had same problem, i tried to pay for small item but payment won't go thru, i've checked my paypal, and bank details all are fine, and also why are ebay still processing my payment for item i sold?

i am fed up now going to sleep
