Hi guys,
I feel a bit silly asking this question, but as a new seller on eBay I have chosen the PayPal option for payments accepted, but now I'm wondering if this means that if a buyer doesn't have a PayPal account and just wants to pay by debit card am I not giving them the option to buy my product?!
Thanks

Since Ebay is forcing you to switch to MANAGED PAYMENTS. that is no longer a concern, Ebay will take about any kind of payment. while still charging you a fee of course.
and check out their new policies. I encourage you to read the fine print how they'll be charging you and have access to your Bank Acct. and Charge an extra 5% of fees if your acct falls below certain levels, I'm Not selling on Ebay due to them requiring everyone to leave PayPal. Seems Ebay is so money hungry, sellers and buyers are not their concern, just profits. I've told everyone to leave EBAY. as a seller for almost 20 years, I can tell you it's nothing like it was, try other free sites the cost of fees and postage these days on EBAY will leave you little profits these days.

The buyer doesn't need to have a PayPal account. They can use any of the payment methods which PayPal processes, including credit cards, debit cards, etc. As noted in the other post, eBay plans to switch all sellers over from PayPal to Managed Payments within the coming year.
