Buyer send money to ebay,once it is processed to ebay sends it to your bank account .How long that takes depends on your bank.You ship when ebay says they have the money and tells you to ship.If you want to wait til it hits your bank you need to set a long handling time in the listing set up or get in trouble for late shipping

Just to add to that.  If it is your choice to wait until the money is in your bank before shipping, your handling time needs to be changed to whatever you think is appropriate to allow for that BEFORE the buyer purchases.  To try and do that after a buyer has purchased with a different [shorter] handling time WILL result in a late shipping Defect.
