Not accepting payment

Hello, I tried to make a payment using my debit card but didn't  accept. How can I make payments using a debit card? Thanks!

eBay accepts debit cards.

The problem is your bank is blocking the payment. Banks in Sri Lanka are limiting foreign transactions because they don't  have the foreign reserves needed to convert the currency. Call your bank. If it hasn't collapsed. BBC news predicted some banks there are collapsing or on the brink.

After a while you will be able to pay, if you want before that you can pay by paypal

Please do not tell them to pay with PayPal.  They specifically said they are using a debit card not a credit card.  Sri  Lanka does not allow citizens to attach a bank account to PayPal. They allow a credit card to be attached to PayPal. A debit card is a bank account payment. The problem can be resolved by calling their bank.

Besides, you asked the same question yourself only 5 minutes before you replied to this question. Are you asking questions you already had an answer for? If we think you're crying wolf and posting because someone on YouTube said it helps you on eBay I'm here to tell you to please knock it off or when you really need some help nobody's going to help you.

eBay accepts debit cards and credit cards. Your bank is the problem you can't pay with a debit card. Your country is low on foreign reserves needed to convert the currency. So your government reported that at times some banks in SL will be limiting foreign transactions.

You can only pay with a credit card on PayPal because your country allows you to attach a credit card to PayPal but not a debit card. A debit card is a bank account payment and they don't allow citizens to attach a bank account to PayPal.

Call your bank and tell them you're trying to pay for an eBay item and your card is declined.
