I think Ebay should charge a restocking fee for buyers who have no intention of paying, but instead sellers not only have to wait out a time (I believe five days), before listing , but also have to put up with messages that are ignored!!!. One person told me they accidently made a bid , that is so not true, because you could take steps to try and rectify that. A 10% stocking fee should be paid to the seller , for the very irritating waiting and lack of communication from an inconsiderate buyer !!!!. This would encourage more sellers to list, and make buyers more responsible??.

If they do not pay after you email them once, do NOT email again. They know they won. Everytime I look at any of my devices and see a little red circle, I know that I sold something or won something. No need to remind them. Then look at the end time of the listing. Add 96 hours and 1 minute and cancel the sale with the excuse BUYER DID NOT PAY. At the same time, ebay allows you to relist the item free. I do not wait 5 days. I wait 96 hours and a minute or two. That is the only punishment given to buyers. A few unpaid strikes and they can't bid if a seller has a block on buyers with X unpaid strikes. I believe is X is 2. (someone correct me if I am wrong.) Make sure that you block the buyer so that they do NOT make the same mistake again on your account.

You might want to look into listing as buy it now fixed price set to require payment right away. That way so sale is made until the buyer pays. Many buyers like BIN sales as they don't have to wait for the auction to end.
