Sold an item on March 24th, but can’t find where the payment went too. Didn’t know that PayPal isn’t with eBay, thought the money was with them.

I don't get how eBay will allow a purchase to go through if they have canned PayPal and the buyer hasn't signed up for managed payments yet?

Maybe it's being held somewhere on eBay's new hard to navigate seller hub?

Someone I know hasn't used their eBay account for the longest time, but they still had a good until cancelled listing out there, I guess they forgot about... well it sold a couple of weeks ago, and luckily their payment DID go to their PayPal account..

But if you've gone past the sign up for MP deadline they gave you (or anyone else, just using you as an example)... I'm curious to know why it didn't go into your PP account and where it is now too.

You're still selling with PayPal, so that's where it should go. Could it be that since you haven't sold anything in so long that they're considering you a new seller? If so, you're under the New Seller 21-Day hold. Maybe that could be shortened with a delivery scan, but should be the longest it would be held... I would think. Good luck.

Buyers don't have to sign up for Managed Payments, only sellers.

Your most recent completed listing shows that your payment should still be going to your PayPal account. Are you sure the buyer has paid? Did you check the email address you put in the Payments section of your listings?
