Hi Everyone,

I've been selling on eBay since 2002. This morning I logged into my bank account and saw two microtransactions from "VERIFYACCT eBay".

I have never seen them do microtransactions in my account. I don't know if they are trying to reverify my banking info. I did also make a sale last night.

Have any of you ever seen anything like this for someone who is not a new seller?

Is this legitimate or is there a good way to find out?

At some point they will send you a message through eBay messages asking you to verify your account by typing in the transaction amounts.

I had the same thing happen. 2 micro deposits on 2/27/23. Then on 03/06/23, a withdrawal, for the combined previous 2 deposits. It is VERY unusual for this kind of transaction to take place, without myself initiating it. Ebay has not notified me of any oof this, and I have not changed my banking info. This is concerning.

When did you sign up for Managed Payments? Whenever that was did eBay confirm that they had verified all the information provided? I see you made a sale on February 25th, has eBay transferred those funds to your bank?
