Managed payments is confusing

Im confused. I was just moved over to managed payments. I am located in Sweden. I thought I should save a few cents with managed payments but it’s the other way around. The list of fees goes on and on.

1. Final value fee

2. International fee

3. Final value fee per order fixed

4. Conversion rate fee

For me the fees as almost doubled.

19.39% plus vat Is my new total fees. Makes it more or less impossible to sell here anymore. Can raise the prices with 19 percent but that would make the items way to expensive.

Yes I understand that non US sellers posting on the US site this will be more expensive for them to do business here.

So it WAS fraudulent to say that for "most" sellers, fees would go down with MP?

I know it is really important to you to twist this all up to suit needs.  I am not aware of what emails were sent to international sellers.

In the come-on to be lured into MP, eBay sent to everyone in writing, that fees for "most" sellers would go down.

They should have told the truth in their advertising.

Where did you acquire that information?  I'd like to read it too.

Everyone simply needs to let go of of what Ebay said a couple years ago about sellers saving money in MP.

Oh, so they did say sellers would save money, they don't since we must let it go, but that's not fraudulent? OK!

Good grief.  I've said several times that Ebay has said that.  However I am not aware if that was to every seller that you keep harping have received this information or if it was just to the US sellers.

I do not know why you have latched onto this and tried to make it seem far more important than it is.  Guess just another thing you want to use to try and stir people up.

The "Getting Paid Has Changed" page, sent to us in a link in our Messages, multiple times.

eBay won't let me cut and paste the HTML (how convenient)

@denuw_92

This is a member to member chat board.  It is not a place to ask Ebay for help and for this problem you need to contact Ebay directly for assistance.

However if I understand your message correctly, your buyer never paid for the item.  If that is the case, you need to file for a cancellation and once that process is complete your fees will be refunded to you.

Yes, that is the .com site, which is the US site.  But you have been saying that they said it worldwide.  So I simply asked where you read that at.  I'm simply trying to update myself.

Don't get me wrong.  Maybe they did, I simply do not know.  I try to steer clear of making statements about stuff I'm unsure about without qualifying it.

Besides they may have.  It is likely true for most international sellers.  The international sellers that list on multiple Ebay sites [not sell on as they have to list on them to have multiple fees] is not likely a majority of international sellers.  Now that I don't know for sure either, it is an educated guess but quite likely true.

You were not paid because you can not legally accept payment from Paypal in Sri Lanka, it may be that your government has frozen your account. You need to call paypal to find out

Re: Managed payments is confusing

I also think that the fees became more and more people have also seen screenshots from several people about all fees

ebay managed payments sweden in addition, I have had problems updating ID numbers from Sweden and money is withheld from the date the ebay managed payments start

it surprises me the most Ebay says that it has been difficult with an update from Sweden and that they sent questions to technical support

Re: Managed payments is confusing

It is crazy fees . I sold 4 small items yesterday  for small money only to check how much it cost . You are right near 20 % in different fees + vat .  eBay is a greedy company with no Customer Service. As a seller you nothing from eBay . I have wait near one month now for to answer me.
