I’ve been buying and selling on eBay for over 20 years. Took some time off and recently started selling again under the new “managed payment “ model. No problems with initially linking and verifying my bank. Was able to set up payments and transfer my sales revenue to my bank with ease.
Approximately 1 month into the new regime, I received a red banner on my selling dashboard stating I needed to verify my bank. I repeated the steps asked by eBay (micro deposits, etc.) although continued to get the bank verification banner. Reached out to customer service, who stated “thank you for 20 years of loyalty - we are aware of this problem and are working on a solution”. This has been going on for 2 months now, with not even a hint of a resolution in sight. Worst of all, when I asked for an alternative method for releasing my sales revenue while eBay fixes their problem, they told me there wasn’t an alternative. They even refused to cut a check!
Suffice it to say I’ve stopped selling as eBay is holding my sales revenue hostage while I fall into debt with my creditors.
I’d really like to know how many others are experiencing this or similar issues. I can see from previous threads I’m not alone. I’m considering reaching out to an attorney for advice - I can’t imagine it’s legal (certainly not ethical) to hold people’s money for problem they acknowledge they have with managed payments .

I am so sorry this is happening to you. I don't know why Ebay does this as it certainly is unfair.
Unfortunately none of us here can help you with this. We are just buyers and sellers like yourself. You will have to continue to try and work this out with Ebay.
I suggest trying Facebook via the link below.

This whole new setup is a nightmare. I'm waiting on money too. I had not sold in a good while and wasn't aware of the changes. As soon as the auctions I have on are done, so am I.

It is always advisable to stay up on reading the emails that Ebay sends out. At the very least the various Seller Updates.
Ebay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.
