@luckystones83-72 I personally have no issues with it.
I chose weekly payouts. My funds are completed ( released) on Tuesday and in my bank on Wednesday
I used to transfer money from Paypal a couple of times a month so this is not an issue.
You can choose "daily" payouts. Payouts are only on business days. It typically takes 2 days for funds to clear the buyers funding source then once released to ACH system it usually is in your bank the next day as long as you bank with a larger bank.
Paypal spoiled us as they used to front the money before it cleared the buyers funding source. Adyen ( managed payments funds processor) does not front the money.

A lot of people are dealing with shipping problems. Do they expect us to ship before the sale payment is in the bank? That will be a deal breaker for me. Not going to happen. How will we be protected from bad buyers?

@luckystones83-72 You can use the pending funds to pay for your shipping labels. Once ebay says it's time to ship according to your handling time then you need to ship. If you wish to wait to ship until the buyers funds have cleared then you will need to extend your handling time.
Keep in mind that once eBay says it's time to ship that the funds are in the same state of seller protection as you had with paypal. A buyer can not just cancel the sale.
It does take some sellers time to get used to the idea of your money not being fronted by PayPal.
This is mainly an issue for high volume sellers who need the quick cash turn around to buy new inventory especially with the loss of paypal working capital loans. Ebay does have another company that offers a similar loan program but I do not know the details of how it works.
OR the other complaint I have heard from the higher volume sellers is that they can no longer pay their ebay fees with a credit card to get points.
If you wish to discuss this with other sellers I suggest you post this question on the payments board where more members can reply.

No they don't. You are listening to stuff that is inaccurate at best. There is no truth to that.
MP is a money processing program, nothing more. It has nothing to do with any other part of your business here on Ebay. It does not have anything to do with how you structure your listings. Now Ebay on the other hand does expect you to ship within your stated handling time on your listing that your buyer purchased from.
So if you have a quick handling time, then yes you will need to ship before your money in MP reaches your actual bank account. I do it this way and have had no issues. But some sellers don't want to do that and that is their right. It is a choice for each of us to make.
So if you don't want to ship until the money is in your bank, simply change your handling time on your listings to be appropriate. Do not make this change unless you extend your handling time or you will end up with late shipment defects that will hurt the health of your selling account. But if this is your choice, there are lots of sellers that do it this way.
Just remember that once you are more comfortable with MP, you may at some point decide that shipping quicker would not be an issue, you can always switch back and reduce your handling times on your listings.
FYI, this process has nothing to do with good buyers or bad buyers. These are payments that buyers have made. The buyer can't suddenly take them away from you. That doesn't happen. At a point in the future they may file a claim, that is different and something we have always had to deal with as sellers no matter who the money processor is.

Yes but when a bad buyer rips you off are you protected?

No more or less than we were before, which wasn't much to begin with.

Depends on the particulars of the situation. There is no blanket answer to that in MP or not.
