Managed Payments SCAM

So I'm trapped in managed payments. I sold an item on Friday, and now its close of business Monday and still no funds. Ebay is holding our money in their accounts to make millions off of the interest.  

I do not see myself selling on ebay anymore.

Your payment is processing. This takes a couple of days, not counting weekends. It's not instant but you will be paid. What is the scam?

All my "processing" sales from Friday, Saturday & Sunday were all processed some time early this morning and are ready for tomorrows payout.

FYI - The funds while "processing" are not even in eBay's hands and when they do get there they are in a non-interest bearing trust account for ONE day before they are paid out.

Check the Payments tab in the Seller Hub to see the status of each payment and when your next Payout will be sent,  depending on your bank it could be there the same day, next day or several days. My own payouts are in my bank account the same day but many sellers who use credit unions or small local banks wait much longer.

I've been in MP since Fall, 2019. In my recent experience, the buyer's payment is my bank deposit in 4 business days.

You sold that item Friday just after 8 p.m. That's after the close of business on Friday. ACH transfers are not processed on Saturdays or Sundays. That means today was the first business day after your sale.

ACH payments can settle only when the Fed’s National Settlement Service is open. Currently, the service does not process on Saturdays, Sundays, or federal holidays. Nothing to do with eBay--they don't set their business hours based on eBay sellers' requirements.

Additionally, eBay does not make any money whatsoever on funds they haven't even collected yet. They do not put any funds from pending payouts into interest-bearing accounts.

Cheer up "gypsieleathers! I appeal to you not to stop selling on eBay, if you are earning pocket change.  Managed Payments is a change we have to get use too.   Once you get use to how it works, you will start to tolerate managed payments.
