Try a few forum searches. There are many threads on the exact subject and lots of carefully worded replies that detail both how it works, how to not get scammed, and how to troubleshoot the issue.

Are you receiving these messages via your seller hub/ebay messaging? Here's a route you may want to take to hopefully get things back on track:

Try contacting this link to get the help you need. These are US CS agents who are employed by Ebay. I don't believe they reply on the weekends, however if you post your problem with them now, they'll get back to you all the quicker.
Many positive posts on this forum with their ability to be helpful.

I had a chat with CS. They told me that will resolve the issue in 24-48 hours. I have a deadline to ship the unit by the March 15. Should I hold on to shipping for now?

I checked my Sold items and there is no message anymore. Seems like it got resolved.

Same, it's been nearly a week. I was told it would be resolved in 48 hrs, then 24 hrs and it's still not.

If its in your Ebay Overview, it is not spam.
