They just can't get their money fast enough!
Imagine if all banks, utilities, and other lenders did this?

Anyone else receive an e-mail on "Updates about eBay managing your payments"?
Oh, yeah... "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds"... our carriers had no problem delivering that mail.

Makes sense for a business to get paid as soon as possible.
Also reduces the fees that they are subject to when taking CC payments.
Makes no never mind to me, as my "invoice" is generally $0.00

Hi friend,
Mortgage payments and rent are due at the start of the month. My renters get 5% off if they pay on time for six months but that's another story.
Hmmm, we pay for most insurance in advance or the policy is cancelled.
Whenif you fly do the airlines allow you to pay AFTER the plane lands?
Utilities have you by the wallet if you don't pay unless you are in a protected class such as over 70 years old. Not a good comparison to managed payments but your utes can be shut off pretty fast after non-payment for three months.
My store costs $22 a month. I don't care when or how they take the monthly payment. There are much bigger fish to fry in my ocean.
We can't even fill our gas tanks on the honor system like we used to in the 1970's when I started driving. An attendant would fill the tank while we watched them check our oil and top off our tires with a smile. They also washed the windshield before approaching us for payment either by cash or a funky old-school slider credit card contraption. Then they would reel off a boatload of Blue Chip Stamps for you based on how much gas you bought at 55 cents per gallon. Yes, this was real. One day out of the blue around 1980 or so, due to thugs driving off without paying too many times the pumps were adjusted to only work after we paid in cash or by credit card inside. The full service island became one part of the station and the rest of the pumps became, OMG, self serve. There was no announcement of this pending change; it just happened. People were up in arms over having to touch the pump handle and to add insult to injury the full serve pumps cost MORE!
With the advent of the internet and smarty pants phones I am not surprised that people want everything their way and faster than a New York minute. 80% of the country doesn't even know what real delayed gratification is, yet.
Have a great day. Roll with the punches and raise your prices one way or another by 10% and move forward.

I worked x number of hours to get paid, a week or two later...

Well that's not fair.
There should be a paper money dispenser right at your work station continuously "making it rain" while you labor throughout the day😊, or your bank account should be getting "instant" electronic deposits by the minute.

I don't use any extra optional features, so my monthly invoice is just $21.95 for my basic store. Having that coming out of my pending payouts is not a biggie. If not enough in my pending payouts, I guess ebay will simply charge my checking account.
